Every app you open, every website you explore, every system you rely on exists because of software developers. From electric vehicles to medical technology, robotics, and satellites, code drives our world. On our two-year HND Software Development course, you'll start with "Hello World" and progress to building full applications, web platforms, and databases. You'll learn to design for users, teams, and businesses and gain the skills to shape our digital world.

Your units will include

Computer Programming; Database Design and Management; Web Design and Development; Computer Systems and Troubleshooting.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or a science or technological subject + 4 subjects at National 5 at A or B, or Certificate in Computing (Level 6), or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression to University or work in computer industry.
