pplicants select from either Digital Art (graphic design & illustration) or Animation. Both routes allow learners to develop their creative thinking and design skills through exciting projects.

Emphasis is placed on developing your creativity, independent thinking, and organisation skills. You will develop an understanding of research, sketchbook working, idea generation and concept development, drawing skills, research methods, and contextual studies exploring the work of relevant artists/designers.

The Animation route focuses on 2D/3D animation, games and VR art. The Digital Art route includes graphic design and illustration, motion design, typography and corporate identity.

Entry Requirements

HNC Computer Arts and Design (Animation). Interview. Portfolio.

Progression Routes

2nd or 3rd year entry to a relevant degree programme at university
