This course teaches the most in-demand techniques and skills for the development of mobile and web applications. You’ll learn how to build mobile apps and e-commerce websites that offer a great user experience, as well as gaining a working knowledge of popular frameworks like Node.js, React, Express.js, MongoDB, Git and GitHub. The course also covers languages such as PHP, JavaScript as well as HTML and CSS frameworks.

Content includes:
UX/UI Design; HTML5 / CSS; Node (Year 2); Express.js (Year 2); JavaScript OOP; GIT and GITHub; MySQL and MongoDB; Build your own mobile app; Web hosting; PHP; Web server management; SEO (Search Engine Optimisation); React (Year 2); and, Data driven website.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus National 5 Maths, Computing Science or a science subject, or a relevant NC or equivalent qualification. You may be required to attend an interview.
