This course introduces the skills and knowledge required to access our higher-level Computing and Digital Media courses. An ideal starting point for school leavers or adult returners who are looking to progress onto a more advanced computing course.

Covering a wide range of computing and digital subjects this course allows you to find out which area you would like to learn more about. It also includes a Level 4 National Progression Award in Digital Media and a Level 4 National Progression Award in Cyber Security.

You will have the opportunity to learn about:

Computer programming; Computer hardware and systems; Digital media - still images, moving images and audio; Websites; Cyber security.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 4 or 4 at National 3. Previous employment or practical experience may be considered in place of formal entry requirements. Entry subject to interview.
