This is the second year of an exciting new qualification in cyber security. You will gain a deeper understanding in areas of cyber security, ethical hacking and digital forensics, and further develop your knowledge and skills secured in the first year.

You will build on your first year skills and knowledge learning how to think like a hacker, and gain a deeper understanding of security issues and concerns. The course continues to introduce characteristics of cybercrime, security principles, technologies, and procedures to defend networks. You will further understand how to develop security policies that comply with cyber security laws.

Topics Include:
Computer operating systems; Digital forensics; Server administration for cyber security; Wireless device security; HND Cyber Security: Graded Unit 2 (project); Penetration testing; Computer programming; Routing technology; Open source operating systems: Introduction to command line.

Entry Requirements

HNC Cyber Security. Interview.
