Have you ever wondered why people fall for online scams, why hackers target networks, or why cyber security experts use coding to stop them?

On this innovative and practical course, you will learn about computer networks, secure systems and data, ethical hacking and computer programming using industry standards and best practices.

This course will be a mix of practical and theoretical learning. Subjects include:

Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing; Digital Forensics; Data Security; Networking and Network Security; Computer Programming; Teamworking.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or a science or technological subject plus 4 subjects at National 5 at A or B, or Foundation Apprenticeship IT: Software Development plus 4 subjects at National 5 at A or B, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
