Cyber Security is an ongoing key concern globally in terms of protecting business systems and data from cyber threats and attacks. The HNC Cyber Security will provide you with a good foundation in a range of security related disciplines to prepare you for progression on to an HND, University or related work within the Cyber Security Industry.

You will gain knowledge and skills in areas related to Data Security, Software Development, Computer Networking, Ethical Hacking, Linux Operating Systems and Digital Forensics. Delivery is on a full-time basis to include lectures, practical tutorials and self-study sessions.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or a science or technological subject plus 4 subjects at National 5 at A or B, or Foundation Apprenticeship IT: Software Development, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
