This course is for anyone who is considering a career in the IT industry. It provides students with a taste of the different specialities within computing, including computer hardware, cyber security and software development.

Content:
National 5 Software Development & Information Systems units; Programming for Mobile Devices; Data Security; Computer Hardware & Systems; Introduction to Networking; Word Processing & Presenting Information; Computing Project; Maths and Communications Units.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4, including English and Maths or Applications of Maths. Alternative qualifications and experience will be considered. Interview.
