On this Electrical Engineering course, you'll expand on the electrical principles covered in National 5 and Higher level. During the course you'll be taught by staff with significant industry experience to develop your skills in a range of science disciplines.

Many of the course modules are project based with report writing included in second-year modules. The course is also designed for higher level technicians in the Electrical Engineering Industry which deals with the production, transmission, distribution and application of electricity and the manufacture, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.

You'll study:

Electrical Motor Drives; Electrical Installation Design; Power Electronics; Electrical Switchgear and Protection; Graded Unit 2 Electrical Engineering; Maths for Engineers 3 and 4: Electronics and Electrical.

Thursdays 9.00am - 5.00pm

Entry Requirements

HNC Engineering: Electrical or other relevant HNC. Interview.
