This course will equip you with a thorough understanding of the knowledge surrounding electrical engineering technologies. You will gain an understanding of how electrical circuits work, the variety of components and systems that you may encounter in the electrical industry together with the practical skills to help you gain employment in the electrical sector.

The practical skills will include a small project on renewable energy and its integration into domestic properties as well as a practical exercise on how this connects into existing systems.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 preferably including Maths or a science subject, or NQ Pre-Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (Level 5). Interview.
