The HNC Computing award is designed to offer candidates academic and technician training leading to the skills necessary to design, implement and support IT systems in a vast range of industries.

The candidates will develop a range of contemporary vocational skills relating to the use and support of IT systems.

Some of the units included cover topics such as Team Working in Computing, Troubleshooting Computer Problems, Developing Software and Professionalism and Ethics in Computing.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths, Computing Science, Graphic Communication or other Science/Technology subject plus 3 subjects at National 5 or relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
