This course is uniquely designed to prepare you for a wide variety of future roles such as; working in the airline industry or as a travel agent, tour operator or visitor attraction operator. You will discover dynamic employability skills and enhance your career prospects as you take a step towards a job in the sector. This course runs for 26-weeks from late August through to March; ensuring you are fully qualified in time to apply for a job during the peak tourism employment months.

This 26 week course runs from late August through to March in order to increase your chance of recruitment into the travel and tourism sector during the peak tourism employment months. Please note that completion of this course will not allow you to progress onto the HND level.

Course includes:
Working as Senior Air Cabin Crew; Airport Ground Operations; Structure and Organisation of the Travel and Tourism industry; Applying Marketing Principles in Travel and Tourism; Providing Information on the Scottish Tourism Product; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Employability in Travel and Tourism; Communication; International Tourist Destinations.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; or NC Travel and Tourism (Level 6). Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Travel and Tourism HND taught at Edinburgh College if you gain extra credits.
