Our HNC Travel and Tourism is ideal if you are looking to start a career in the travel and tourism industry. It will prepare you for a wide variety of future roles, for example - working in the airline industry or as a travel agent, tour operator or visitor attraction operator. You will enhance your career prospects in the tourism sector by the developing the necessary skills and knowledge that are required by tourism industry employers.

This 26 week course runs from late August through to March in order to increase your chance of recruitment into the travel and tourism sector during the peak tourism employment months. Please note that completion of this course will not allow you to progress onto the HND level.

Course includes:
Working as Senior Air Cabin Crew; Airport Ground Operations; Structure and Organisation of the Travel and Tourism industry; Applying Marketing Principles in Travel and Tourism; Providing Information on the Scottish Tourism Product; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Employability in Travel and Tourism; Communication; International Tourist Destinations.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; or NC Travel and Tourism (Level 6). Entry subject to interview.
