This hands-on course will allow you to study towards an up-to-date qualification, covering many of the skills that are in high demand for a range of different careers in the software development/programming sector of the computer industry. These include developing skills in C# and Java, Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming, SQL Programming, Big Data and Project Management

Object-oriented programming; Data structures; Relational database management systems; Object-oriented analysis and design; Developing websites for multi-platform use; Multi-user operating systems; Big data.

Embedded within this award is an Oracle vendor qualification which may make you significantly more employable.

HNC Computing: Software Development. Interview.

Progression Routes

Successful students can progress on to year three of BSc (Hons) Computing, Internet Systems Development, or Web Systems Development at Glasgow Caledonian University.
