The HND 3D Computer Animation course will provide you with technical and creative skills to prepare for a career in animation. This course will provide you with an appreciation of aesthetics, in addition to developing your technical ability and understanding. You will explore a range of topics such as character modelling, environmental modelling, special effects, and compositing and motion graphics.

The aim of this course is to prepare you for employment in the 3D computer animation industry by developing skills in vocationally relevant software and hardware, developing current employment skills and expertise, and building a thorough understanding of the role of computer technology within TV, filmmaking, the games industry and animation.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
