Prepare for a career in accounting or further study. This course will help you enhance your existing knowledge and develop a skill set that meets the standards required by employers, while also providing progression opportunities at university.

You’ll gain a solid foundation in the concepts and processes used in financial and management accounting, as well as other essential and academic skills required in the professional workplace.

You will study:
Recording financial information; Preparing and interpreting final accounts; Cost and management accounting; Business law; Maths and business communication; Statistics in business; Financial reporting and analysis; Income tax and management accountancy.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, preferably including English plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5.
