This course builds on the HNC and will give you a wide variety of sought after skills in computing related posts, including software development, security, web servers, databases and mobile technologies.

Content includes:

Object orientated programming (OOP) and developing websites for multiplatform use; security concepts, computer networks and cryptography; web servers; Relational Database Management System (RDBMS); and mobile technologies.

Entry Requirements

HNC Computing with a minimum of 15 credits and preferably A or B for the Graded Unit. Entry is subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Entry to year 2 of a degree through the college's articulation arrangements.
