Sound engineers work with musicians, producers, web designers and programme makers to help create high quality soundtracks in music and speech. This foundation level course is designed for those with an interest in sound engineering who may want to consider a professional career. It provides basic training in all aspects of the subject, from multi-track and stereo recording to digital audio workstations.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements, although you must have an enthusiasm for sound production and recording. Entry is by audition and interview, including short communication/numeracy diagnostic papers.
