Study Ethical Hacking and graduate as an accomplished, in-demand cybersecurity professional.

It takes a hacker to catch a hacker. This degree is for you if you get excited by the challenge of outsmarting cyber criminals and want to make a real difference by fighting for security and justice online.

It's a hands-on, innovative way to dive into cybersecurity. We equip you with the skills and expertise needed to identify and fix security flaws. You'll learn how to break into systems, test vulnerabilities, and ultimately, make the digital world a safer place for everyone.

You'll work on project briefs provided by industry partners, and get the opportunity to apply for paid internships (subject to selection).

Entry Requirements

2027 entry requirements

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBB including 1 from Maths, Computing Science, Geography or a science or technological subject plus Maths at National 5 (if not held at Higher).

Widening access entry: 3 Highers at ABB including 1 from Maths, Computing Science, Geography or a science or technological subject plus Maths at National 5 (if not held at Higher).

For entry to second year, you must have 3 Advanced Highers at ABB including Computing Science and one from Maths or a science or technological subject.
