The BSc Computing Science will give you a wide ranging understanding of computing in a variety of disciplines.

Study topics include software development processes and technologies; foundations of programming; software modelling tools; object-oriented analysis and design; databases; and web service development.

Careers available in a dynamic industry include software developer or software engineer, web developer, systems analyst, database administrator, database designer, IT consultancy and technology sales.

2024 entry requirements
Standard entry:
4 Highers at BBBC including Maths or Computing Science plus English at National 5.

Entry to year 2 is possible with 3 Advanced Highers at CCD including Maths or Computing Science plus English at National 5.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at BBCC including Maths or Computing Science plus English at National 5.

Progression Routes
