With the expansion of PC based LANs into the office, there is increasing demand for professionals who possess a broad knowledge of PC-LAN technologies and the ability to integrate them into a seamless network. The BSc course in Computer Networking covers computing and electronic technology during the first two Years, before specialising in computer network design and management in Year 3. The course will provide you with the fundamental knowledge to design, configure and implement a network, with particular emphasis on the integration of software and hardware components to enable efficient operation of the network.

Standard entry:
4 Highers at ABBB plus English and Maths at National 5.

Entry to year 2 is possible with 3 Advanced Highers at CCC including Computing Science plus English and Maths at National 5.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at BBBB plus English and Maths at National 5.
