The BSc Web and Mobile Development will equip you with the skills to design, develop and maintain secure web services and mobile applications that exploit the capabilities of the internet.

You will gain expertise in systems design and analysis. You will use the latest tools, techniques and scripting languages. And you will develop dynamic, interactive and secure web and responsive mobile solutions.

Graduates will be able to establish and manage secure web servers and create and maintain appropriate web material.

The degree has strong industry links, including a programme of guest speakers, company visits and networking events with employers. Opportunities to study abroad are also available.

The course is recognised by the British Computer Society as fully meeting the educational requirements for Chartered IT Professional registration.

Entry Requirements

2023 entry requirements
Standard entry:
4 Highers at ABBB plus English and Maths at National 5.

Entry to year 2 is possible with 3 Advanced Highers at CCC including Computing Science plus English and Maths at National 5.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at BBBB plus English and Maths at National 5.
