The Introduction to Jewellery course will teach you a range of skills in jewellery design. You will be encouraged to develop your own creative ideas and will be taught how to translate these ideas into finished, 3D pieces of work. The course will cover basic areas such as developmental drawing, body adornment, using non-precious materials and design work.

Alongside drawing and design work the course will cover basic areas such as a variety of metal forming techniques, surface decoration techniques, non-precious materials and design communicated through samples and sketchbook work.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English and Art and Design. Interview and portfolio.
