The advanced-level course will introduce you to concepts in domestic building services, building technology and sustainable design whilst developing skills in technical drawing, computer-aided drafting and construction calculations. In addition, you will enhance essential general life skills such as adaptability and teamwork, which will set you up for the future regardless of your chosen career path.
You will study:
Concepts in domestic building service; Building technology; Sustainable design; Technical drawing; Computer-aided drafting; Construction calculations.
Subjects at National 5. English, Maths and a science subject preferred. National 4 Maths (if not held at National 5), of Construction Crafts (Level 5); Aptitude test at interview.
