The course focuses on the technological delivery of design and the construction of buildings, combining a passion for innovative design in the built environment through communication, sustainable and building technologies.
You will have the opportunity to engage with industrial links through alumni and staff who are all fully chartered members of the professional body. You will have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities, site visits and specialist lectures in subject related fields.
This course provides engagement internationally through staff and student exchange, and through ICAT (International Congress on Architectural Technology) of which staff and students present and administrate. You will also have access to research excellence in the field of Architectural Technology through staff and PhD research.
This course has been accredited by the professional body for a number of years and is accredited as a Centre of Excellence in the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology through staff and PhD research.
