This stimulating, learner focused programme will be delivered by our highly professional teaching staff with significant Construction Industry experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.

The subjects you’ll study include:
Construction Technology: Substructure, Site Administration, Quantitative Building Studies: Substructures and Drainage, Quantitative Building Studies: Floors and Roofs, Estimating, and Quantity Surveying Practice.

Entry Requirements

Maths or a science subject at Higher; or NQ Built Environment or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

Employment in higher quantity surveying technician or junior management posts with firms in the construction and property sectors; further study for BSc (Hons) degree courses in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Building Control at Glasgow Caledonian, Heriot Watt or Edinburgh Napier universities
