The construction industry is always looking for well-trained, qualified people who can work as managers, technologists and technicians. In this mostly theory-based course, you’ll build a strong working knowledge of construction technology and methods, health and safety, materials and surveying. The course ends with a practical project to showcase your new skills.

Construction Technology: Modern methods of construction; Health and Safety; Construction materials; Construction site surveying: an introduction; Building Environment Project.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English or Maths and Design and Manufacture, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
