This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and understanding required for employment in a dynamic construction industry. It allows you to work in the construction industry without following a traditional apprenticeship route, but can also enhance your opportunity to be taken on as an apprentice.

The course is predominantly theory-based with a small practical element.

Content:
Construction Technology: Substructure and Superstructure; Modern methods of construction; Health and Safety; Construction materials; Construction site surveying: an introduction; Building Environment Project.

Entry Requirements

English or Maths and Design and Manufacture at National 5 or NPA Construction or equivalent qualification at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
