Content

Introduces the key knowledge and skills in civil engineering. Students will explore designing, constructing and operating a wide range of infrastructure projects including major structures, geology, highways and water resources. This course will ensure that students have the technical and management capability to contribute effectively in this environment.

This course will enable learners to achieve professional body recognition in particular, but not exclusively, from the Chartered Institute of Building.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; preferably Maths and a science subject, or NC Built Environment or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
