The?BSc (Hons) Interior Architecture?explores how interior spaces are designed, experienced, and transformed. Sharing its academic ethos with the GSA’s ARB/RIBA-accredited Architecture degree, it focuses on?spatial design, material performance,?and?human experience, treating the interior as a site of innovation and social engagement. Students work within GSA’s creative community to develop critical, sustainable, and technically informed design responses to contemporary challenges.
The curriculum integrates studio practice with architectural technology, history, and theory, encouraging students to think architecturally?from the inside out—examining thresholds, materials, and the relationships between people and space. Through projects in adaptive reuse, transformation, and atmosphere, students cultivate the skills needed to design regenerative and inclusive environments. Graduates leave as confident, climate-conscious, and collaborative designers prepared for diverse careers in interior or architectural practice.
