This Level 6 course provides students with an introduction to the construction industry with a specific focus on new sustainable building technologies and construction techniques. This will give you an essential introduction to how green skills, along with retro-fit technologies, are used in the wider industry including practical applications.

Units may include:
Modern Methods of Construction; Drawing for Construction; An Introduction to Sustainable Design for Architecture; Health and Safety in the Construction Industry; Conform to General Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare; Construction Calculations; Plumbing - Emerging Technologies; Carpentry and Joinery - Emerging Technologies; Projects.
