The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Scotland Academy provides a training to employment programme so that you can move directly from college into industry and a career for life.

On successful completion of the 18 week course you will gain an NPA Construction Operations, SCQF Level 5.

Employers are involved throughout and there is a guaranteed interview with a realistic opportunity of employment for everyone that completes the course.

Content includes:

Workplace Health Safety and Welfare; Conform to Productive Work Practices; Set Out Secondary Dimensional Work Controls: An Introduction; Install Road Drainage; Lay Kerbs and Channels; Excavate Holes and Trenches; Reinstate Ground Conditions; Form Concrete Structures; Lay and Finish Concrete; Core Skills; Work Readiness.
