This course will prepare new entrants to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in plumbing/heating industry.

The course will combine new technology and current practice in the installation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems.

You will study:
Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering; Electrical Principles and Processes for Building Services Engineering; Scientific Principles for Domestic and Industrial Plumbing Systems; Common Plumbing Processes; Hot and Cold Water Systems; Central Heating Systems; Drainage and Sanitation; Practical pipework skills.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Interview and practical skills test.

Progression Routes

Entry to a Modern Apprenticeship or possible further study in engineering courses electrical/mechanical subjects at NC Level 6.
