This course will prepare new entrants to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in plumbing/heating industry.
The course will combine new technology and current practice in the installation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems.
You will study:
Health and Safety in the workplace; Practical pipework skills; Energy technology; Career and employability guidance; Plumbing and heating systems; Low carbon energy production.
No formal entry requirements, National 5 English, Maths and a science or technological subject preferred. Interview and practical skills test.
Entry to a Modern Apprenticeship or possible further study in engineering courses electrical/mechanical subjects at NC Level 6.
