This course provides you with an introduction into the Construction Industry. During the course, you'll gain experience and knowledge in a variety of construction trades.
Your course will be delivered by highly professional teaching staff with significant Construction Industry experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.
You'll learn a range of hand skills and practical tasks in the following trade areas as well as communications and numeracy:
Decorative Painting; Basic Plastering; Basic Tiling; Joinery Bench Skills; Health and Safety; Digital Communications in Construction; Mathematics: Construction Numeracy.
National 4 English and Applications of Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview.
You can apply for an SCQF Level 5 course in a number of trades on successful completion of the course.
