This course provides you with an introduction into the Construction Industry. During the course, you'll gain experience and knowledge in a variety of construction trades. To find out what trades you'll cover, please see the 'What You Study' section below.

Your course will be delivered by our highly professional teaching staff with significant Construction Industry experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.

You'll learn a range of hand skills and practical tasks in the following trade areas as well as communications and numeracy:

Decorative Painting; Basic Plastering; Basic Tiling; Joinery Bench Skills; Health and Safety; Digital Communications in Construction; Mathematics: Construction Numeracy.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

You can apply for an SCQF Level 5 course in a number of trades on successful completion of the course.
