The CECA Scotland Academy is a training to work pathway creating qualified Civil Engineering Operatives (CEOs).

You will learn about:

Workplace Health Safety and Welfare; Conform to Productive Work Practices; Set Out Secondary Dimensional Work Controls: An Introduction; Install Road Drainage; Lay Kerbs and Channels;
Excavate Holes and Trenches; Reinstate Ground Conditions; Form Concrete Structures; Lay and Finish Concrete; Provide Temporary Excavation Support; Health and Safety in Construction.

Entry Requirements

English, Application of Maths and a science or technological subject at National 4.

Progression Routes

Successful completion of the course gives a guaranteed interview at a local Construction Company.

NC Built Environment (Level 6) or an apprenticeship.
