On this course you'll study the practical and theoretical aspects of Painting and Decorating, which will prepare you for working in the Construction Industry. You'll also develop transferable skills such as numeracy and efficient working practices which will help you to get a job in this field.

You will study:

Health and Safety in a Construction Environment; Preparing and Painting Surfaces; Decorative Painting; Decorative Treatments; Prepare and Hang Lining Paper; Colour Practice: Painting and Decorating; Paperhanging: Patterned Paper; Numeracy; Sustainability; Construction Occupation Practices.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English, Maths or a science or technological subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
