This course introduces you to the knowledge and skills you’ll need to work successfully in government vocations, including communications, teamwork, leadership and many more. Many of the fact finding and practical tasks you’ll undertake mirror jobs and processes in the real workplace.

The course has excellent partnerships, working with the police, army, coastguard and fire service. You’ll make regular visits to the various services base locations, and hear from guest lecturers in the classroom to make sure you’re well informed in your specific area of interest.

Entry Requirements

Subjects at National 5; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4/5. Entry subject to interview.
