The course introduces learners to several trades including bricklaying, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery and plastering, also the safe use of hand-tools and equipment and workplace health and safety. In addition, this NPA develops knowledge and understanding of the construction industry; practical, technical and transferable skills; oral, written and evaluation abilities; resource management; problem solving and planning; organisational and communication skills.
