Pathway students enrol on the undergraduate BSc Hons Building Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University. In the first two years, you study HND Building Surveying at a partner college while preparing to progress to year 3 of the degree.

Building surveying graduates enjoy excellent career prospects as building surveyors advising clients on both commercial and residential building issues.

Year 1 and 2
In collaboration with partner college you study an enhanced HND Building Surveying for two years before progressing into full-time study at Glasgow Caledonian University. Here you will gain a great grounding in the field of Building Surveying.

Year 3
Placement, Construction Technology, Design & Regulation, CAD Application & Innovation, Building Inspection and Pathology.

Year 4
Building Development, Sustainability & Building Surveying Studies with an option from Conservation, Facilities or Project Management, Honours Dissertation.

Entry Requirements

2025 Entry Requirements:
2 Highers at BB from English, Maths, science subjects or other related subjects plus National 5 English and Maths (if not held at Higher).
