This nationally recognised course covers: Bench Joinery Skills; Manufacturing Joinery Components; Constructional Carpentry Skills; Construction Safety; and Employment Behavioural Skills. This will also include core skills in Communication, ICT and Construction Numeracy. All units within the course must be achieved to gain certification. This will also include an element of online learning.
2 subjects at National 5, including English or Maths; or Gateway to Trade Skills (Construction); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. Interview, pre-entry test.
