The Multi Skills course provides craft vocational training in a variety of construction trades. Successful applicants will follow the same attendance programme as the industrial apprentices. The National Progression Award (NPA) is a vocational qualification designed to prepare people for employment, for career development or for progression to further study.
In addition to the subjects below, you will also study five core skills, including communication, ICT and numeracy, which can help you to gain the essential skills required for life, learning and employment.
The multi-skills course gives you an introduction to:
Bricklaying; Painting and decorating; Carpentry and joinery; Plumbing; Roof slating; Roof tiling; Ceramic tiling.
No formal entry requirements. You will be asked to attend an interview and undertake an aptitude test.
