In stages 1 and 2 of the course you'll study the technical and legal aspects of real estate surveying, along with the valuation of property and cost of construction.
In stages 3 and 4, you'll be provided with an in-depth knowledge of real estate appraisal: investment and development, as well as specialist and statutory valuation. You'll also examine how urban planning regulates the development of property and value of real estate. You will also gain 120 credits through work placement module over these stages.
In the final stage, you will focus on advanced valuation and planning & development, and how to work on a joint project with other disciplines. You shall also undertake a dissertation.
The Honours course is fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and you will graduate with both an Honours degree and the means to achieve the highly regarded professional qualification of Chartered Surveyor once you enter the workplace.

4 Highers at BBBC.
Widening access entry:
4 Highers at CCCC.
For entry to year 2 you must have 3 Advanced Highers at BBC plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5.
