This course will help prepare you for an exciting and stimulating career in the Film & Television industry. You will be taught by industry experienced staff, and from the outset, you will be involved in a variety of hands-on productions designed to challenge you and develop your knowledge and skills in the various craft and production roles in television and film making. You'll work on location and in our recently upgraded TV studio.

Sucessful completion of this course will result in you being awarded the SQA group award for HNC Television Production (NextGen).

You'll learn about:
Scriptwriting; Production Planning; Producing; Directing; Camera Work; Sound Recording; Editing; Lighting; Sound Post-Production; Multi Camera Studio Production.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; preferably English, Media or other relevant subject; or NC Film and Screen (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. All applicants will be interviewed, where you will be expected to demonstrate a real and genuine interest and passion for the media and film making and TV production in particular.
