This course will help you to develop and gain an understanding in Social science; developing analytical, evaluative and problem solving skills. Using critical thinking to understand about social and cultural issues.

Core units include:
Research & methodology; Sociology and psychology; Graded Unit.

Optional units include:
Politics; History.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including English, or Access to Social Services (SWAP); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Subject to successful interview.

Progression Routes

HND Additional Support Needs or a degree in Social Services. Possible degree routes with Open University include Social Work (must be sponsored by an employer), Youth Work, Psychology.
