This course prepares students for careers in Sound Production/Audio Production across various industries like music, film, TV, radio, and gaming. It provides hands-on training with access to professional recording studios and specialised classrooms, fostering experimentation and skill development within the Centre of Excellence: Media Production.

From inputs to outputs, you'll learn how to get the best results using our amazing equipment to record, edit and deliver creative projects. You'll learn how to use Digital Audio Workstations including Ableton and Pro-Tools.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5, preferably including English, Music or Music Technology; or Intermediate Certificate: Broadcast Media (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview and skills test.
