This course provides students with experience of a broad range of different types of engineering and the core skills to progress on to National Qualifications. It aims to give individuals greater confidence in their own abilities and fully inform them about a career in engineering.
Subjects Include:
Mechanical Engineering Workshop Skills; Engineering Materials; Turning/Milling; Thermal Joining Skills (Welding); Health and Safety; Engineering Drawing; Engineering Maths/Numeracy; Communication; Information Technology; Engineering Dimensional Control; Installation of Wiring Systems.
