This course provides transferable core skills, foundation skills and workshop training for those who aspire to a career in electrical installation work.
Course content includes:
Practical electrical installation skills; Health and Safety; Basic principles of electricity; Basic electrical control circuitry; Electrical test & inspection; Basic Fault finding on electrical circuits; Employability guidance; Programmable Logic Controllers.
No formal entry requirements. Completion of SECTT pre-employment assessment. Selection by interview and practical activity selection centre.
Entry to a Modern Apprenticeship.
