This course is a practical, dynamic, skills based course.

You will learn the professional way to create great content for television, from studio based programmes to short films. You’ll learn industry specific skills such as camera, editing, scriptwriting, sound and audio post-production.

You’ll have the chance to meet industry professionals working in television and video production as well as studying how the modern TV sector works.

You will be taught how to plan and schedule your shoot, and you’ll experience the challenges and rewards of working as part of a production crew, both in our state of the art television studio and out on location.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
