This course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of the working practices of the UK Creative Industries with a focus on video production.

Students will develop creative and technical skills relevant for employment within the Creative Industries, one of the fastest growing sectors of the UK economy, and for progression to further learning.

The course is based around a set of core Creative Industries modules with specialist modules in subjects including scriptwriting, camera work, lighting, directing and editing.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4.

Progression Routes

Successful completion of the NC programme may provide progression to HNC and Higher National Diploma (HND) film and video courses and related subject programmes at other higher education institutions throughout the UK.
