This course is designed for the study of electrical and electronic engineering and enables progression to higher levels of study.

Content includes:
Communication; Mathematics; Information Technology; Fundamental Electrical Systems; Electrical testing and Measurement; Single and Three Phase Motors; Electrical Plant Maintenance; Electrostatics and Electromagnetics; Fundamental Electronics; Single Phase and Three Phase Principles; Semiconductor Applications.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including Maths and a science or technological subject; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Selection by 2 stage interview.
