The fast track LLB is an alternative route for Graduates with an undergraduate degree, (usually in a discipline other than law), who wish to obtain a qualifying degree recognised by the Law Society of Scotland. Such individuals will hold a good Honours degree – or exceptionally an unclassified/ordinary degree with distinction - and will be able to demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.

Year 3
Introduction to Legal Systems and study; Obligations; Trusts, Succession and Family Law; Public Law; Scots Law: Human Rights, The State and Accountability; Criminal Law and Evidence; One Level 2 or Level 3 Law Option

Year 4
Commercial Law (40 credit double module); Law for the Built and Natural Environment; EU Law; Skills for Legal Employment; Jurisprudence and Social Theory; One Level 2 or Level 3 Law Option.

Entry Requirements

2025 entry requirements:
A 2:1 Honours degree in any discipline. A 2:2 degree or unclassified degree with an average of 65% may be considered.
