This is a part time degree for adult returners who have had time out of formal education.

Studying law concerns the obligations and rights which members of society have in relation to each other and to the state. This part-time LLB Law degree is delivered during the day with fortnightly tutorials at flexible times. Part-time study of the LLB normally takes five years, although there are opportunities from Year 3 onwards to accelerate your studies and complete within 4 years. An Honours degree can be obtained by adding an optional further year of full-time study.

Year 1: Legal Processes and Systems, Criminal Law and Evidence, Constitutional Law, Law and Society.

Year 2: Law of Persons, Administrative Law and Fundamental Rights, Obligations 1, Commercial Law.

Year 3: Law of Property, Obligations 2, EU Law, one optional law module.

Year 4: three optional law modules, Reflective Project.

Year 5: two optional law modules (with opportunity for two additional law modules.

Entry Requirements

4 Highers at BBBB, preferably including English and other english based subjects, taken in one sitting.

Adult returners should have a gap of at least 3 years between completing secondary education and applying to university, be at least 21 years old on the date the course starts and show evidence of academic attainment within the last 5 years.
