This is an entry level course to allow access to HNC or HND study. This course provides an insight into the varied aspects of the legal sector and the many career options available.

You will explore the following subject areas: Scots law, Crime in the Community, contract law, property law and family law.

You will explore the following subject areas:

Scots law; The nature and extent of crime; Crime control strategies; Crime scenes; Crime in the community; Contract law; Property law and family law.

You will also learn about Crime in Society and gain a general understanding of consumer and investor protection and employment Law. Throughout the course you will develop and enhance your skills in areas such as employability.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including English; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
